Review

"It is a wonderful account of Bajan culture and history woven into historic fiction and nestled in an international backdrop. As a Barbadian I easily appreciate and relate to the atmosphere created, I am essentially a part of such life. The village shops, the town bakeries, the derelict Bridgetown facades that sheltered illegitimate businesses, and the pulsating reggae rhythms drifting with the wind into the late night hours. As stated it is a simple message that shines with a purpose. Caribbean life with its harsh challenges is still beautiful."
